Concept A
Brand concept A

Open
cell.

This direction takes the hive at its word and makes it useful. A hive is not chaos. It is the most orderly thing in nature: every cell the same shape, every cell with one job, nothing wasted. The symbol is a hexagon drawn as a C, open on one side, with a single cell held inside it: a claim, received, kept in its place, and ready to leave. Black and honey yellow are the oldest warning colours there are, which suits a product whose job is to keep a regulated business out of trouble. The voice is direct, quick and confident, for owners who have heard enough sales talk.

01The logo

One hexagon, opened to make a C. One cell inside. The wordmark is lower case and close-set so it reads as a single word. People will call it “the Hive”, and the brand is happy with that.

02Colour

Honey is a fill, never a text colour on white. Where yellow needs to be read on a light background it becomes Dark honey. Green and red are for outcomes only: accepted and rejected.
